We stand ready to retire your flag with dignity and honor according to Flag Code. Prior to Deactivation Ceremonies, the Flags are stored in an airtight, waterproof container. The container is on a platform on the top floor of our facility. The flags will never be underfoot or touch the ground.
8. Respect for flag (k) The flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning.
